Default thundermax part number question

looking at buying a thundermax with autotune thats off an 07 road glide. seller says part numbers are 309-340 and 309-350. anyone know if this will work properly on my 08 softail. if so can i just install it, download a map and run it?

Should work. 309-340 is the ecm and the 309-350 is the auto tune module. The latest Gen2 is 309-360 has both units in one package not much larger than the stock ecm. It may have the #s of -340 and -350 on the latest version making it a -360 model but the 309-360 won't be found on the module to state that. Earlier models were separate components. If this is the case there maybe some firmware limitations to the earlier two piece model . Confused yet? Bottom line is if you have the ecm and autotune as one unit it is the latest 309-360 Gen2 and it will work. Check it out here.

Also looking to put one on my 07 Streetglide, Thanks for the explanation. Now, just have to find one, used but good, preferably. Thanks.
