PowerVision question
I installed the PowerVision on my 07 SG and enjoy the real time display.
My bike is highly modified and we used the PC III map that the bike was tuned on last year, just downloaded it and installed. The bike runs great. Do I have any reason to invest in the AutoTune module with the 02 sensors? I do have 18 MM bungs that are capped off and factory 02 that are bypassed. No more mods are planned.

No. The '07 has or has the capacity to have narrow band sensors. If you feel the tune needs a slight auto-tune adjustment you can do it with the narrow band sensors in the basic auto-tune mode.
Yes. Go to flashyourharley.com , you will find everything you need to know about the Power Vision. You can download a tuning manual and other things you may need. The tech at Dynojet suggested to me to run the narrow band O2 sensors, said that if you happen to get a tank of bad gas on the road it would compensate enough to let you burn it. It will work just like a stock ECM, just with the map for your mods.
Another benefit of the 12 mm narrow band is they work real time with the PV. The 18 mm broadband auto tune module only works in Autotune Pro mode. They don't work in real time. You can have both hooked up and use the narrow in real time and broad in autotune.
You absolutely can. Just plug them back in. You'll need to look at your AFR table to see if any part of your map is in closed-loop (I'm guessing it's probably not) to reap all the benefits though.

Thought I read somewhere setting the AFR's outside closed loop would disable the whole closed loop system.
Just went back and looked, seems the Adaptive Fuel table (values) that it has collected will still be used in Open Loop, just that they are not adjusted.

This is what I was thinking, if his AFR's are below 14.5 then running closed loop isn't going to do him any good will it? Or will the AFV's still get populated even though the AFR's are outside the closed loop range?

He can't run closed loop below .977 Lambda (which I think is around 14.4 AFR), but that's not an issue in the cruise range. His bike is AFR/TPS, so there's no reason in the world he can't run in that area up to 2750 and 40 or 50 TPS.
I'll have to look at the map for my Night Train to see where I'm in CL....
