I've had sporters (never again) I've had low riders (also never again) but the last two HD's I've had have been softails. Reasons: Looks and bags. Those dam shocks are always getting in my way. Softails look like the oldies and are easier to get bags or detachable bags for.

Never mind your personal opinion and listen to me. Buy a softail! People will talk behind your back if you ride a Low rider - You're not Peter Fonda ya know.

Just kidding - sort of. No, really I am.

I have had 2 LR's a softail Deluxe, a Deuce and just bought a 09 fatboy. IMO the LR is a lil power house that handles great on a more agressive riding style yet comfortable on long rides as well. The Deuce long and lean and goes with that style as well. The Deluxe and the Fatboy are more of a "luxury" type ride and less agressive style of riding, But make no mistake all can stretch out and thrill the hell out of ya!!
