Hey all! I'm brand new to the site and wanted to introduce myself. I just purchased a 2007 Softail Custom in Cobalt blue with about $1500 worth of chrome and add-ons on it. I purchased it from a widow who it was her late husbands and she didn't want it and the memories it had around anymore. The bike had 1,090 miles on it and I got it for $14,000. Does this sound like a pretty good deal? Anyway...lookin forward to talkin to everyone down the road.
that's a pretty good deal. that bike retailed for ~$16,500 new, and with the chrome additions and virtually no miles, I think you did very well.
there is nothing like a Custom. I'm glad I bought the BEST Harley my first time out!
it's a boulevard cruiser, good for distance riding(with the best OEM seat ever), and it handles like a dream in the twisties-carves them up like nobody's business.
tell us about the chrome add ons and any other mods that have been done.....I'm always looking for ideas from others.
welcome. you have found the right site for socializing and good advice/product info...
