Default Mounting Fuelpak

I was wondering if anyone has put a Fuelpak on a 07 or newer fatboy. If so where did you mount it.There isn't any room under the seat. The directions show it on top of the battery but I can't get the seat back on.One other question. Is there any way to get a deeper tone out of the V & H double barrels? Thanks guys.

Tom from http://harleygoodies.com/ here. For a deeper tone get Big city thunder baffles or the vance and hines quiet baffles. I'd imagine you could put the fuelpak under the splash guard for the rear wheel somehow, but I have no experience with the fuelpak.

I have an 08 with the fuelpak. It's mounted right under the rider's seat. Not really mounted, per se, but just sits there. I guess the wiring kinda keeps it in place.

Thanks for your replies.I think I will call V & H and see what they say. They don't list any optional baffles for these pipes on their website but maybe some others fit. I will let you know.

my fuelpak sits under my seat (corbin) <-- less room than stock, on the left side right against the fender. to get it to fit i had to twist the wires a couple different ways before it was right. took a lot of patience something i dont have much of. good luck

Takes some work and patience, but it will go under there. Look closely at the directions and follow the diagram. I thought I would never get mine under there, but finally did…

I like the sound of them. Kind of deep and throaty - kinda loud also, but that's the way I like em. I have the standard baffel in them. Some people don't like the long shots, but I think they look good.
Hey, keep working with the fp. You'll get it under there...

I have the stock seat on my Fatboy, and the Fuelpak just sits on top of everything else. As stated above, you have to move a few wires.
