Default lowering bolts

Hey guys, anyone know how much dealer charge to install a lowering bolts on a softail?
by the way Xuallus the money are on your way!

I hear most charge like 2hrs labor to install them. If you R&R the shocks then you can have the bolts swapped for $20-$40 at an indy

Heard from numerous people the lowering bolts were NOT THE WAY TO GO, INSTEAD DO IT PROPERLY BY INSTALLING THE LOW PROFILE SHOCKS!!!

Hmm, wonder how come? I used the lowering bolts and am very happy with the result. Can't really tell any difference in the suspension from the stock bolts. What are the "numerous people's" complaints?

I used the J&P bolt kit and it's great. I did have my dealer install it though, and they charged 1.5 hours of service.

Bought a set from bkryders for less than $25 shipped...chromed at that. Installed myself after making a press from steel angle and all thread rod. Rides very good and handles well. I have no regrets or issues. Works for me!!
