I don't really want to be the one to say this, but this topic must have 100 posts. There are as many opinions on this as people in the world. Personally, I use Shout! laundry stain remover. It works great. I'll have to try pig spit too, as that is a new one to me. I am still learning after all this time.

I have been using the Wesley Bleach White with brush and elbow grease. I have cans of pig spit sitting around for the engine so I'll try that and the Mr Clean Erasers out ASAP. White Walls are a lot of work but most definitely worth it!

I have found the Mr. Clean erasers need to be sued gently as if you rub too hard they tend to disintegrate in your hands.

I tried alot of different things as suggested by members here a few years ago. Spent alot of money on stuff that would work, but was difficult, requiered rubber gloves, or the results were just not what I wanted.

Someone finally posted the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers, and since the wife had a few of them on hand, I tried it...WOW!!! very easy, very clean, very white. No strong arm needed, just use it to gently wash the whitewall. takes me about 2 minutes per side of each wheel to have the wide white walls sparkling and looking great.

No harsh chemicals, no arm soreness, no scratching wih brillo pads... a little water, and gently rub. I was amazed, and have used nothing else since.

Also changing the brake pads to Lyndells, will help to elliminate the brake dust that makes the white walls look so bad, and make cleaning easier and less often.

+1 on the Shout...spray it on the dry tire...go grab a beer (or beverage of your choosing) and come back at it with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Done!

I forgot to mention the Lyndall's. I changed the rear pads the Lyndall's when I put my new wheels on. They do make nearly no dust too.
