Default Instant Bagger

I just installed a set of bags on my Fatboy. They are from a Road King Custom that my friend put hard bags on as soon as he got it and they've been sitting in his garage for 4 years. I originally bought EZ brackets to install these but they stick out way too much and I don't think they would hold the weight of these bags. I used Cyclevision's Baggertail and the install was a snap. Great product. The only problem is the bags hit my axle covers so I had to take the outer plate off the covers to make them fit. You can't see this with the bags on but I know it will annoy me so I have to get different ones. I also need to find some way of covering up the holes from the Road King badge I took off. Any ideas? I think they look ok but I can't wait to load them with all the crap I always need but never seem to have. (tools, jacket, gloves, helmet, Grey Poupon, etc...)

The bags suit the bike perfectly. I don't normally like bags on a fatty, but in this case, they look like they were made for your ride. Congrats.

Looking great, I like it!
Bags come handle when you go on a road trip, I carry rain gear, air pump, tools, stuff like that. I have detachable bags, throw them on sometimes.

Wow, that looks great! I was looking for something like this for my Fatboy that I am saving for right now. I don't want to have the bags on all the time but the bags they make specifically for the fatboy look funny. I'll have to look for some Roadking custom bags like that when the time comes!

Looks great there. Get some sort of small spikes to cover the holes, or some sort of metal emblem to mount on there. Let me know if you want to know where to get spikes. I realize they are not everyone's style, merely a suggestion.
