I am looking for a set of 6" risers to fit the Harley Springer, (Crossbones) there seems to be a lot around that say they will fit but when you read the small print they have to be modified any one else got around this any links to shops selling them would be gratefull

The modified ones might work but they got less coverage over the knarls (sp?) What are you hoping to thow up their on the top of those 6" ers? Wild1 has some with some pull back builit in...
You can put any riser you wish on the bike......if you want it black like stock you'd have to have the chrome removed and have it powdercoated black. Thats what i did for my 05 Springer classic with the same front end as yours.
Springer risers are hard to come by and this is one way around it.

I see that those adapters also have a verson that is 'bubbled' out a little around where the riser bolts in. Do you find that this version has the riser hangin off the edge?
all you need is new riser studs.
had this problem fitting my 3" rsd risers to my bones but these sorted it out.
drag specialties do them if your interested let me know i will dig out the part number.
there about $20 if that

after you install them you can install any standard risers as long as they don't have a one piece top cap...
