Default Cyclevision Barebacks

I would like to put on detachable saddlebags for long hauls, but I refuse to use those big ugly frame guards. Another Train owner told me about these:

Does anyone have any experiences with these and a detachable sissy bar? If so, what brand/style bags did you get?

Thanks!

A couple of guys I ride with have them, and they are great. When the bags are not on, you cap the bolt with a chrome cover. It looks great.

I have the Cyclevision Barebacks on my XBones with the detachable sissybar and the HD XBones bags. I really like them. Very secure, easy off, and much easier to clean the bike now. My son also just put a set on his '09 FXSTC with some bags he had on his Dyna Custom.

I have Barebacks set up for a detachable sissy bar. I use the Harley Fat Boy bags, and a t-bag on the bar. No problems, a lot of trips with them. The only negative is the bags hang out farther than I would like. The Barebacks use the stock mounting holes in the fender struts, and have spring loaded mounts that attach to the bags through their mounting holes. You just snap the bags on. Pull them off and add the supplied chrome cap over the mount. Cleanest set up I've seen.

Since I never take my bags off....except to clean, the bagger tail mounts work good for me.

Those look like they would be what you are looking for if you remove your bags often. I checked out Bubbas stuff too.....they look like they would work. It looks to me like if you didn't use the hard bags that you could get by without the little black "noticeable" brace too.?? That is if you are look'n for a neat and clean look.

Nice bike too!!

I also have the Barebacks and am very satisfied with them. I also have the quick detach luggage rack/backrest combo. As stated above, with the bags, they do stick out a little more than I like, but the ease of popping them on and off greatly outweigh that.
