So, I am new to the forums and the Harley family. I bought my first bike (2009 denim black Night Train) a couple months ago and love it.
I'm looking to get a set of pipes installed but I'm torn between the V&H Big Radius 2-1 Black and the Big Radius 2-2.
I've seen a bunch of pictures of the 2-2 online but haven't seen any of the 2-1 Black on my bike, no matter how much I've searched. So I was wondering if anyone had any pics of this pipe on their Night Train so I can get a better idea. I wasn't sure if the black pipes would be an overload.
The V&H black pipes are my favorite. I haven't seen other black pipes that I like. I think the chrome tip and V&H badge set them off perfectly.
I don't like the V&H BR 2-1. If it was my bike, which it isn't, I'd go for the 2-2. Personally, i'm just not a fan of 2-1's, despite the added performance that they provide.
make sure you shop around for different pipes first, Y because everyone and there mother has them 2 pipes. But hey if thats your flava then go for it. Dont get me wrong there great pipes, but you will go to a rally and 7 out of 10 bikes will have the big radius, believe I know.
My lil brother has the BR 2into2 and they look bad ***. Only downside is a lot of ppl run them on their trains.
And I would say a lot of people run them because they look bad ***.
I can totally respect another person's need for individuality, but from my personal perspective, I'm not going to NOT get something that I like just because a lot of other people like it too. That's just me though.
I personally like 2-2. But then again you look at Chazmanian's 2-1 they look good too. I'd go with black. I wrapped my shortshots with black exhaust wrap this spring and they look great. Only problem is now they are hotter then hell!
