I've been poking around for a kit that will move the floorboards on my '07 Fat Boy forward about an inch. I have them extended out an inch, but would like to go forward without spending a $hitload on forward controls. Any suggestions?
I have these on my Bike Dooderhead. I think I ordered them from another online retailer for a bit less as I think CycleVisions is the manufacture. They are good quality, fit well and functioned as stated. Keep in mind that you will need to either re-bend your current stock rear brake line to make the stretch forward or get a new line altogether to make the length. Use the proper tool if you reshape your current rear line.

Thanks all for the input! BigJoe, you mention adjusting the brake line for the Cyclevision kit, but according to their site, that's only necessary for 89 - 99 FLST models. Mine's an 07 and the site makes no reference to that. Now I'm all confused LOL
Ok, I'm an idiot. I just read the pdf directions and there it is..."
Reinstall the brake assembly, and either install a new brake hose, or rebend the line with a bender (be careful not to
kink the line). If you chose to replace the brake line: Use the following parts: a 23” brake line, a 31” brake line, 90°
#10 banjo fitting, straight #10 banjo fitting, and a rear brake tee."

You got it brotha.... The site is not very clear about it. It's only when you open the package and read/ or read the online pdf, then it's mentioned. Not required on 00 and up because you have the option to bend the line. 99 and down must have a rubber hose so it's listed as a replacement line is required.

the quickest and (maybe) the cheapest way is to install HD # 50409-04 ERGONOMIC OPERATOR FOOTBOARD KIT" ... just HDs way of saying extended floorpans for touring bikes.
they do fit a Fat Boy - they're on my '08. took all of 15 minutes to change.... wouldn't have taken that long, but I couldn't get the rubber insert out of the stockers...... finally used liquid dishwashing detergent (like the instructions said) and they just popped out.
I copied Sonar Chris - from the extended floorpans, the Harley Goodies, extended gear shift lever and an extended brake pedal lever.

+1 on this. I have the harley goodies to move them out and the touring pans to move them forward. You can look at my photo's to see pics.
