Just grease same on mine since new..sprays onto tank sometimes...........rub some on your face next time you go for a ride , will feel like a proper old time biker then
no it is normal and there is no grease seal. i take mine to the dealer to get snugged and greased about every 15,000 miles. will make a mess for a while.

Rub it on your head, will make your hair grow back like rogaine also.
As said before normal, I carried a rag with me for a while, on hot days, really pours out.
