Pontiac Grand Prix GTP, Chevy Silverado 4 x 4, 2 Harleys - Road King and a Softail Rocker. I've worked in the auto industry for over 20 years ( last few years working for Mercedes ) and I drive/ride only american. It drives me crazy to see an american flag and a Harley sticker on a foreign ( usually Japanese ) car or truck. That old line about it being built here - its still a foreign company so while that may create a few jobs here all the profit go's over the ocean. I also love the " your Harley has some foreign parts on it " - a Motorcycle or even more so a car is a very complicated machine and yes - there are always some outside sourced parts needed. Harley has used Showa forks for years - so what - a large majority of the parts are from right here. One thing I noticed over the years. When I was at an american dealership almost 100% of the employees drove american. When I was at a Japanese dealership it was very diverse but not many drove the brand we sold ( Honda ) Now that I'm at a German dealership its about 40% Mercedes - 40% american and 20% anything else. Some MB techs with many years experience are driving american - usually trucks.

Are you not an american? That what makes AMERICA great we are from all parts of the world. Everyone is some kind of a mut. whether england/mexico/asia/africa/germans/everywhere...I was watching a special on vietnam yestuday and guess what was the closer to the show? A FORD PLANT in vietnam...go figure...im sure if all those foriegn car companies shut thier doors in the US? Our economy would fall apart....SCREW THIS THREAD!!! good luck
