Default Powdercoat solid Fatboy wheels

I was thinking about having the centers on my 05 Fat boy wheels powder coated black. The cast looks terrible and so many folks have done chrome. Has anyone tried this? I need new tires, so they have to come off anyway. I figure its cheaper than new wheels, and might look really nice.
I'm new to the forum. Thanks for your thoughts and advice.

Coop57 has some black in the center. They look great. And JRK can coat them for you as a new site sponsor. That sounds like all the info you need. Git'r done!

I had my Train rear wheel PC'd gloss black.
Got tired of trying to clean the polished edge and the black center when they were stock.
It is a breeze to clean now.............

I used duplicolor ceramic brake caliper paint from a rattle can. $8 both wheels on my second season holding up quite well.

Thanks everyone for the comments and ideas. Coop57, the spray can idea had crossed my mind. Maybe I'll give it a shot over the long weekend. Did you prime them first?
Have a safe 4th of July fellas.

Nope! clean em with wax and grease remover the paint is made to stick to aluminum. This paint works best if you cover in one coat.

Good luck with it.
