Default DUI Dropped!!

Well, I guess I finally get some good news from my accident on June 6th. They never told me what my BAL was, but must of been less than .04??? Part of the plea agreement was me pleading guilty to improper passing and paying $150 fine and one year court supervision. Lawyer told me to pay the fine and get my butt out of the court house...lol

I was a little upset that they were making me plead guilty to something that I had not done. And the guy that hit me gets off with no tickets at all.

Tomorrow I should hear what my estimate on my bike is! Just have to hope they are not going to total it! I have been already buyng parts to put it back together...lol

Hmmmm... sometimes attorney's really know what they are talking about! Good luck with the bike repairs.

That's good that it's over with. Now you can fix the bike, and get on with life.

Probabally have another 4 months before the left leg will be healed enough to use. But I hope to have the bike totally rebuilt again when I do get the ok from the doc to ride.

Sounds like a win win. Attorney gets paid. State gets paid, other driver gets paid, and you get to foot the bill for something you didn't do.

U have been quiet about this one, I looked up to see if u posted any more info. nada,

so I can't say mush about Ur crash, but it should be easy to find out Ur BAC

here in Ind < .08 is legal. didn't know any state was lower than that.

lawyer must have had reason to tell U to pay and for U to go, can't say without knowing what really went on..

Hey Dustmaker, Good to hear that all the legal stuff is ending.
You gotta look forward to bringing her back to life. I like the pic you had done with the 2000 Heritage.

Drinking & riding? I'd say you got off very light..

That's a BIG no over here, maybe you guys are a bit more acceptable of this.

In some states if you are involved in a crash and register anything at all, it's a DUI. And others it's 0.04.
