I hear ya, I been feeling the same with my 16's.
I'm going to go to a 3" riser, I only have 1" riser on it now, hopefully it won't look to goofy tho. If that fails I'll be looking for a set of 18"s.

 

ordered a set of 16" apes from hill country customs. Should be here next weekend. Didn't find any 18" for a springer that I liked and don't want to mess with an adapter. I may still end up with some dogbone risers in the end.

got the 16" bars from Hill Country Customs. I love them. I'll get some pics tomarrow if its not raining.

 

I think those reg apes will look better on your ride... Also I'm not one for big risers... But to each there own.
