Actually, the first Night Trains were built in 1971 and 72. They did not resemble the current breed tho. They also did not sell well.....

Believe so, but the Train was the same design. I can't find a pic of one tho.....

The bike shown is a Super Glide. An ad agency came up with the name Night Train according to research that I did a while back on this topic. It was not an official Harley Davidson name until it was released first in Europe in '98 and then in the US in '99. Of course, I am only quoting information from non-official sources.

I thought they were called "BadBoys" first in '95 but with a springer front end.
