Why did Harley stop making the Deuce?
I share the opinion that the Deuce is the best looking Softail (and I think all Softails look great!) The Deuce is extremely comfortable on long rides, but it has always been treated like the "red-headed step-child" of the Softail family. The most common phrase in the accessories catalog is "(except FXSTD)". It's not that it needed special parts; it's the fact that H-D never made as many accessories for it as they made for other Softails. I was very disappointed that they discontinued the Deuce, but at least it's back in it's "reincarnated" form as a Rocker!

Ugliest rear fender HD ever put on a bike - thats the biggest reason. Also, just an FYI guys - the Duece and the Rocker have exactly one part in common - the tank. Thats it. Different frame, completly different front end with different rake, different bars, different tire sizes front and back, completly different rear 1/2. Even the tank panel while similar is different.
