Damn surprised no one jumped on this.. I dig the look of wrapped pipes. It is much easier when the pipes are off the bike, but it can be done with them on albeit a pain in the ***. Ok so first wet the wrap real good, makes it easier to wrap and makes thing TIGHT, but very messy. Start at the top as close to the collar as you can get, wrap around twice and clamp with the steel ties. Start wrapping the pipe tightly with about a 1/2" overlap. Wrap down the pipe keeping the wrap tight until you get to the point where you want to stop. Cut the wrap and attach two steel ties. Let the wrap dry completely. This should take a day or two. Once dry I used Black High Temp BBQ and sprayed the wrap. Be sure to cover the rest of your pipe so you dont get overspray. Once dry touch up any spots you missed. Re-install the exhaust and take it for a spin for about 40 minutes, this will let the wrap cure. For the next few days the pipes will smoke and stink like hell, but it will look killer. Post pics when done and pm me if you have any more questions. Hope this helps.
