The more I ride the less I like my C&C. Dont get me wrong it is a great seat, its just not working for me. I think my legs are just too long for it. When I'm riding around town with my feet on the pegs, all my weight gets pushed back right on my tail bone. The only time I can take it is when I'm haulin and I have my heels propped up on the pegs. So it comes down to, is there anyone on here with a bare bones that is rather tall??? I'm thinkin not having any sort of back would actually be benificial for me. Any insight?
Put that thing and E-Bay and come join in on the Bare Bones low and as far back as one can get fun Bro.
Is it really comfy? Heck no.
Is it badass looking? Heck yes IMO.
Have I even put my badlander on since my Bare Boner arrived? Fvck no.
The only thing thats gonna set you back as far and as low is a shop rag over the frame rails!!
Bare Bones. Not juts a look. But a pain filled adventure! Cuz' if its gonna hurt...Than gosh darnit it should look really cool.
J/K Mine isnt bad at all. Since going to my mini apes its even better. I'm 6' and with that BB seat and the 3" extended kit on my bike? My legs are stretched dern near straigh out. I dig that. Dig it alot.
The BB looks good, I like mine, but it's only good for around town. I don't see myself doing 100 miles on it. My FXST is lowered 1.5 inches, full preload, and my spine gets the message when I hit a potthole.
6'2" with a 34" inseam. Like I said, nothing against the seat, it just doesn't work for me.
I spose I'll call C&C tomorrow and see if I have any options as far as re-doing it.
Chaz I gotta say tho, lookin at yours compared to the pic of the 06+ on Lepara's sight yours looks much more flat. Where as the 06+ looks more like my C&C.

Flat? That thing is a black vinyl shop rag Bro! Thrown over the frame rails to take bad men good places......Or maybe good men to bad places? All I know is when there is a bare bones seat involved something is bad somewhere!!
sorry flat was the wrong way to put it. I meant its more say, tangent to the rear fender. Where as the 06+ looks like it has that big square back like mine.
I agree with Chaz... B Bone is the best looking seat out there... and Yes when riding over a 100 mi either your ***** or your a$$ is going to sleep... But after that what the hell you can't feel it anyway... LMAO I've heard that Corbin Hollywood is a good seat man... and for the price it better be.
I got like 4" down on the back... It's a hard ride and I'm proud of it...
