Default Bought another Softail

Well...my Night Train didn't sell...which ticked me off...so I went and bought another bike...it's an 05 Deluxe. Got a decent deal on it and traded my wife's Sportster on it. She's never felt good on the Sportster and wouldn't listen to me about a bigger bike being easier to ride, she finally did and here we go.

She rode it home from the dealer and finally admitted I was right. She loved the ride and the sturdiness that a heavy bike brings in cross winds etc. I've never been much of a Deuce fan but I dig this bike, which was why I bought it for her. So she gets a nice bike and I get another bike in the stable that I wouldn't mind riding myself on certain days.

It's pretty stock, the picture below is after we cleaned it up some, we took the Deluxe saddlebags off it, removed the pillion and luggage rack, changed the mirrors and football and a few other knickknacks. It's a Stage 1 with V&H Big Shot Longs on it, it's lowered with bolts, quiet baffles on order. Goes pretty damn good, I think it would keep up with my Street Glide easily...Train...no.

This picture stinks...humidity fogged the lens and she didn't know it.

Looks like she's got herself a really nice ride there.
Hope the two of them have a lot of fun and uneventful miles together.

Yeah..well now I have to convince her that we have to get a set of those badass big spoke DNA wheels and some Apes and a chrome front end kit.

I've seen some badass looking Deluxes in this forum so I have a lot of inspiration. I have to admit, I dig this bike. Not super crazy about the white/black scheme but she loved and I guess it technically is her bike.
