I'm draining the oil in my Deluxe as I write this. It's my first time.
I'm unsure what to do with the filter as I have two opposing opinions...
Do I fill the new oil filter up with oil, or just get by with rubbing oil around the gasket?
Thanks in advance for any help you can throw my way.
Yea, pour some oil in the filt first, don't fill it, pour in till about half full the roll the filter 360 to absorb into the element. I always slide some alum foil under the old filt before I remove so it doesn't make a mess. Make a trough coming away from the filter looen it up and catch the oil in a container.
