Default duece bags

What are people's opinions of bags on a duece. Also, how easily are they removed. I realize you need to move the tail lights in order for the bag to fit, does anyone know how the bike looks with the bags removed and the lights in the "bag position"? Hope that makes sense.

Here's my "bags"... not great storage but they will hold an extra set of clears and a couple cigars

Yes, I am wondering the same thing. Looking for a set that can be used on longer trips but can be removed quickly without leaving a trace.

For a minute I thought this thread was on douche bags.

Found this. If anyone else has done this I to am interested. Not a big fan of bags but when the need arises........

http://www.easybrackets.com/index.htm

This models is used on the deuce, all years. This kit is to be used with a Mounting System for "The Deuce" DMS-EB manufactured and sold by Great Bike Gear. The mounting system is a formed chrome plate mounted under the fender rail on the deuce to provide mounting points for the Easy Brackets. The original turn signals remain in the factory location. This model is typicaly used with small to medium saddlebags

Now that my wife likes to ride along, I've had to switch my solo seat out for the "two-up".

I bought a bag made from heavy nylon thats made for a Deuce, and slips over the luggage rack while another "pocket" goes over the backrest. (I perfer the look of the solo seat, but I must admit, its nice having a little storage space!)

A friend of mine purchased one of the "Biker's Friend" storage units for his Deuce. (If you ride alone, you can use both bags simultaniously)

Both bags can be removed in a matter of seconds.

Oldude, I have the same style bag as jercruzen describes. I bought it from the dealer sight unseen.

If I had seen it first I could have saved a lot of money by going to where they got it. SAC. Bags says Harley Davidson by SAC on the side.

http://www.coolsac.com/default.aspx

After looking at SAC's selection, they may be a little different but as long as they have the "2" pockets for mounting, backrest and luggage rack, then the prices are way better.

I tried a T-Bags Saddle Roll that they stated was "highly recommended for the Duece" but it only had a pocket for the backrest and the straps were to short to go around the turn lights so the only other place was at the backrest itself. When you tightened the straps it just pulled it off the backrest. I couldn't find any other way to use it so I sent it back. To bad as it was a great bag.
