Default Headlight stopped working.

I put ape hangers on my '06 night train this past weekend, and everything worked great. Yesterday after getting home from an after work ride, I noticed the headlight was out. I replaced the bulb, but no joy. I checked the connection under the tank, seems okay, maybe a slight touch of corrosion but nothing significant. Any idea what would cause it to go out?

+1 check the ground.

Do you have a test light? If not go get one at an auto store, they are super cheep and come in handy for things like this.

Ground inside the headlight seems fine, wires are plugged into the connector as per normal. Gonna borrow a buddies voltmeter this afternoon and start investigating further. Appreciate the help and tips.

bars are internally wired, but the headlight wiring doesn't run through them. All controls from the hand grips(Directions, start button, horn etc) work fine.

Sure enough, it was something simple, just a fuse! Thanks harleygoodies.
