To take a previous thread a little further, is there a standard length for cables for 16" apes on a heritage softail? I know they just make wire extensions for the rest.
I have been trying to find this out for weeks about mine as well. I have 14" apes and i am trying to get my cables. The best way that i have found is to measure the cables with a string and then measure the string. then you can call one of the custom shops and talk to them if your measurements sound right. If you find anything please let me know. I would love to get mine done this week.
Clutch cable 72"
throttle and idle cables 39"
Brakeline 52"
brake banjo 10mm x 90degree
brake banjo 7/16" x 35mm
Thats all the cables and line demensions that came with the 16" ape hanger package from Hill county. all the lengths are what was on my invoice, hope it helps. the package should be deliverd tommorow. mine is a 07 flstc
