Default Quiet Fishtail System

Hey all,

Im keeping my eyes open for a stock Heritage Springer system for my Heritage Softail...
I like the look of the Dual Fishtail type systems - but I want it nearly as quiet as stock...

Anyone know of a dual system (other than the Stock Heritage Springer Exhaust) that is as quiet as stock and mounts onto a 2006 Heritage?

I did and there is an amazing amount of product in it...

, I was hoping however to get some feedback from someone running a "quiet" fishtail Dual system....

Cheers!

You will be very hard pressed to find anything close to the stock quietness. I have been looking for years and everyone claims how loud they are. I have V&H "Quiet Series" pipes and after 6 months they sounded just like straight pipes.

I've heard that SuperTrapp makes a fish tail exhaust for baggers that's pretty quiet. I don't know if they make anything for softails, though.

You might want to check out roadhouse exhaust. I don't know anything about them but I think they are supposed to be soft, or at least you can put a quiet baffle in them.

Anyone Have any experience with the supertrapp silent series pipes? It's not a dual fishtails system but it looks interesting.

Also, what about Aftermarket baffles? Anyone happy with the results In terms of performance and sound?

I'm giving this thread a bump. This is something I'm also interested in.

The supertrapps are tunable, both sound and performance.

They make a nice 2 into one Internal Disc Series with a fishtail end cap.
