I just bought an 05 Heritage with only 225 miles (not a mistype) I pick it up tomorrow & as new condition. It was a estate sale, the guy bought the bike then found out he was really sick and past away 29 days later (very sad story)
any suggestions on what i should do as the bike has been started roughty once a month and no rides.
I know i should change the fluids but any other things i should do?
Bummer, at least the guy got 225 miles of smiles before he tapped out. As far as the bike I would say change the oil, lube the cables, give it a real good once over, check the tires as stated above, then ride.
well i picked up the new Heritage, the bike actually as 2200+ miles as the lady owner was reading the trip and not the odometer lol. everything is g@@d put a 200+ miles on and it rides great but need the clutch adjusted & i will change the fliuds over the winter.
thanxs for the great advice.
