Default Tail light question.

What choices are there for a good looking tail light assembly with the turn signals built in for a 95 Softail stock bobtail fender.

If there was one made for older Softails, I'd have it on mine.

If it makes you feel better, the tri-bar led does not have built in turn signals FWIW.

J&P Cycles sells one that looks like the one Shu posted to fit the earlier narrower Softail fenders.
Not sure who actually makes it, but I have seen it in a couple of other retailers parts catalogs.
Its also a hell of a lot cheaper than the Tri-Bar.

I found these, Might look cool if I made a new mount for them to fit in my fender.

that is cool, dont need to make a bracket if you get a lay down tag and then just use the top plate holes. will still need to cover the old tail light hole with something. maybe a large patch hot glued to the fender

I LIKE that one a lot.
It looks like its supposed to mount on top of a contour style fender. But if your at all handy with fabrication, or know someone who is, it shouldn't be too much trouble to make up a sheet metal bracket of some 1/8" aluminum so you can mount it under your fender.
Just use your old light as a template to get the inner fender contour and mounting holes right.
I didn't see any reference to it, I didn't read it all, but just be aware that because the turn signals are LED's you will need to add an equalizer into the turn signal circuit or they are going to flash too fast on you.
