Default fuel line leak

My wife and I were doing a run up north about a month ago and while checking her bike over, I noticed a dark line where the fuel line connects to the injectors. Close inspection showed a hairline crack in the connector. It did not drip, but I could wipe it off and it would re-appear when the bike was running. Just something to watch for. I replaced hers with the new updated version of the hose and connector. Chances are there isn't a problem with the old style. They probably just re-designed it because they were bored and needed something to do. Don and Pam.

Thanks for the tip, what year was the bike with the leak? Do you know what year they changed the design?

Default fuel leak

The bike is an 07 FLSTC with 27,000 miles on it. She bought it new. I noticed the 09 models have the new style hose. Problem was not with the hose, but with the connector. Good news is that if you have to do a road side repair, NAPA and most automotive shops will have the connector. It is not as beefy as the orriginal, but will get you back on the road. Don and Pam
