Has anyone heard of Halfbaked Coatings, Located in Kieler Wisconsin. I heard that they do excellent work and are reasonably priced. Anyone know of these people. I've got a bunch of stuff to P/C this winter and I'm starting to look now since I can't ride because of the Friggin' weather. Thanks, Coyote
Haven't heard anything about that place but you may want to try to contact JRK5892 who not only is a member here but a site sponsor. I've seen his work and it kicks azz and he is very reasonable!
Sounds great! just let me know it would be our pleasure to help you out. We work with auto and motorcycle parts all day every day in the shop. it is nice when you get your parts back everything that needs to be masked off and plugged is! this makes re assembly so so much faster/easier!

Nothing against you, 'cause I hear you do good work and you're a site sponsor, but the OP would probably be better off finding a local coater. I've had just about everything on my bike PC'd by the local guy, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
With shipping, you're adding an awful lot of chance of something happening to your parts in transit.
i can see what you are saying, we make up for that by cutting great deals for memembers and we powder bike stuff on a daily basis. nothing sucks worse that getting your parts and having the wrong stuff masked, or holes not pluged that needed to be... plus, we do perfect work... bottom line. you send it to us and it will be perfect when it leaves the shop!

Like I said, no knock on you at all. A bad coater can fvck your parts up in a heartbeat, or worse yet, if the stuff isn't prepped right, the powder coat won't stick. I got very lucky I found a quality guy locally.
