Default Saggy Heritage Bags..What Actually Helps?

Just bought my first HD. A 2005 Heritage with 9100 miles. Love the thing and got really lucky cause I haven't found a thing wrong with it yet. But I would like to get the saggy lids on the bags shaped up a bit. Been trying to research what actually works and was hoping I could get some advise from those with some experience. Will try to post a pic as soon as I learn how. New to the forum but I'll learn.

I used the saggybag kit on my heritage. The bags look brand new again.

There are many posts on this topic. but heres my 2cents:

gotsaggybags.com

I put them on mine before they sagged, but I see a lot of others have reformed them as well.

I went with the Boss Bags system, mainly because I didn't like the idea of gluing panels to the leather. It is pricey especially considering you'll probably have to spend $50+ to ship the bags to them. I do think it's a better quality job and it includes locking hasps for the bags.

That said, I've read dozens of posts from happy gotsaggybag customers. Basically comes down to how much $$ you're willing to spend.

If you do go with the Bossbags make sure you pack the bags in the smallest box possible and use the least expensive shipper.

I've seen Boss Bags work and that's where mine are going in about a month. I talked with them on the phone and they will turn them around in about two days.
