They're MK III and my boards have been changed in order to install the billet inserts. They are attatched at the bottom of the floorboard and come out in front of the shifter. It may be a couple of days before I can post more pics.......Maybe I can squeeze it in after work----I'll have more at least on Saturday

Looks good, have to rethink the engine guard idea…

I think the engine guard provides a more retro look---but that's not what I was going for. I wanted a cleaner, leaner look. I don't have the protection (falling) that the guards provide though. But man---u can adjust these things forward (away from you for longer legs) or backwards (toward you). I like them so far. I only rode about 20 minutes on them; but with my feet up on them---I felt more comfortable and roomier. I do like the guards; but just not for me.

So am I correct to assume the cruise arms MKIII attach to the existing footboards on my fatty?

That's correct.

yep---pull the inserts off the pans.....place the plate (included with cruise arms) into the pan and mark the four holes.....drill the holes into the pan.....attatch the plate to the pan with the 4 screws and bolts and the cruise arm itself attatches under the floorboard in alignment with the first two holes you drilled through the pan in alignment with the first two holes in the plate.

Do the III 's hang out far enough so your leg isn't always up against a stock air cleaner on the right side?

The way I have mine adjusted, my leg does not touch the air cleaner/breather. I can only place my heel on the footboard and the ball of my foot on the peg. After I get these extensions from Kuryakyn http://www.kuryakyn.com/products.asp?bn=harley&ci=3594 I will have more adjustment options.
