Default ABS dash anyone

Anyone know anyone who uses an ABS dash, and what are your thoughts about a chromed ABS dash.

I currently use a 2 piece upper and lower cast dash but its always loosening up and getting cockeyed. I'm wanting a 1 piece but with stretched tanks can't find 1 long enough. I found an ABS chrome thats the right size but here in Pa. I worry about using such a thing.

patience my ***, hehe. just kidding. I guess my obsessive compalsive (however its spelled) is showing thru. Its cold here in Pa. which means all those nagging things I put up with cause I didn't want my bike tore down during our short riding season are filling my thoughts unmercilously. I'm a better mechanic than spelling bee finalist, hehe. It took me 3 minutes to write that last sentence with all those big words.

I've seen the one I think you're talkin about...looks kinda cool.

check out Milwaukee Iron. Site's down right now but they make NICE dashes

this one is the one I'm thinking of, and it comes in both plastic and cast:

wait, no, this one:

"mirage" dash.

and here's one of the MI, with the cool stainless speedo ring:

Default I've actually been looking at the very same dash.

I like it alot and will very likely use it. I'm going to search first for a roadking dash and fab up a 3 1/2 inch bottom that would hold a socket for a cig. lighter. I smoke, and miss my dressers lighter socket because not only is it good for lighting a smoke( most commonly cigs), its also useful for my gps. The roadking dash thought is only to give it a bit of stock with some fab, something I've grown quite accustumed to in my many yrs of keeping my bikes in the wind.

I tried a abs dash once... they are made to go over your org. dash like a cover. Atleast the one I tried. Don't do it... it squeeked and drove my nuts... lol

Milwaukee Iron... went out of business, but if you can find a dash from them thats what a friend of mine did with his streched tank.
