Cool 2008 softail pipes

I have a set of OEM 2008 softail pipes; with the oxygen sensors. Can they be mounted on a 2002 (no sensors) with the outlet holes plugged? Other than that, they look like they would mount OK.

thx

Yeah, you can plug the holes. It's the same process as running a PCIII- no o2 sensors. As far as fitment goes, I'm not sure.

Only at HDForums could this question be answered with such ease!!
For my own knowledge why would an '02 be able to use these pipes by simply plugging the O'2. Does the '02 model year not require an O'2 sensor??

Thanks
NR

You are correct sir. The older models don't have 0'2 sensors.
