i went to lowes and bought a new hex head bolt to replace the torx and got their $5 hex set.

Glad I read this thread before I start beating the **** out of that passenger side footpeg. I'm actually about to start breaking down my POS OEM stock pipes and put my new V&H BSS on. thanks for the info guys. I will just get the wifes hair dryer out , soften the screw and continue. Wish me luck!
