Default needing some help...

I am new the this awesome site so I have not read the older posts. I am in the market for a quick detach hard bags and backrest for my 06 Deluxe. Does anyone know a company that makes the docking hardware for both?

Welcome to the softail section. Nice ride. Check out Easy brackets or bare backs for the saddle bags quick release and Harley for the sissy bar QD hardware.

you can order the easy brackets for when using the detachable sissy-bar. yes you have to order separate.

Like others have said you order separate. Most of your detachable saddle bag mounts like easy bracket will ask if you have the detachable sissy bar and will send you longer bolts to allow for the use of both. I know of no one that makes a bracket that is for both.

Welcome to the world of Harley. Get one thing here, another there, yet another over there. Then put them all together.

I went with the EZ brackets myself. Prior to installing the EZ brackets I installed the HD detachable backrest kit. Love having both installed. With all the detachables installed I can go from a bagged cruiser to bar-hopper in a matter of a few minutes. Pop the windshield off, bags, passenger pillion & sissy bar & it's like owning two bikes.
Detachables are awesome!

No I have a 500CI big block in it now. Runs low 11 second quarter miles in street trim.
