Smile Does anyone know of...

A less expensive element for a Hypercharger aircleaner? 50 bucks seems like a lot to me unless its washable foam and will last for ages....any suggestions most welcome...

I just removed my hypercharger and replaced it with a Screaming Eagle heavy breather.My hypercharger has a K&N fiter in it! I'm looking to sell it Cheap!!! pm me if you or any one else is interested .

Thats about the price of a stage 1 K&N filter? But yes the K&N is washable.

Could you tell me the part number for the K&N filter please? I tried their website and it doesnt appear to be listed...

it's been a while, but i think i paid something like $15 for an extra element.
it uses a k&n brand paper element. clean & re-oil with k&n filter kit.

maybe the fact you're in australia has to do with the high price?

I am presently living in TX in the USA so I am guessing its the US price...thanks for the thought though !

50 bux for a K&N sounds about right. And they come pre-oiled, so you're good to go for several thousands miles before cleaning and re-oiling.

Maybe you got the chinese version... lol jk'ing

I think it something like hd-0800 K&N part number You can get that filter at most speed shops or auto zones... they prob have to order it though... but thats just a stage 1 filter about 5 inches round.
