P.c. Iii question
New to the site and love it. I've got an 03 Heritage with fuel injection. I am gonna put V & H Big Shot Longs on the bike. I see most people like the Power Commander III. Should I use that because its adjustable or is my best bet to get the one V & H makes for my bike. I'm not sure I want to get into the Dyno thing. I'll be doing the work myself. Also what do you all think is the best air cleaner. Thanks
Look at this one from HD (Harley part #29773-02C)

Please note that you will still need to get an outer cover like this (Harley part #29138-91)
http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...1&default=none
And a gasket part # 29591-99 to make it fit the above
You will need a longer chrome allen screw that goes thru the center of the chrome outer cover (Harley part #29138-91), the phillips one that comes with it is not long enough. I do not know what length to tell you on that.
Also note that the backing plate of the Screamin eagle Stage 1 is cast gray aluminum, and not chrome. If you want chrome, the chrome part # is 29510-05. And thats $50.00 more however you dont see alot of the backing plate.
All of the abve mentioned is on my bike in picture. View my public profile to see it upclose.
If money is no object get a Performance Machine cleaner or a Roland Sands cleaner.
Also the PCIII is going to be your best bet on that year of Harley, I'm not a fan of the Fuelpak from V&H.
The PCIII has more milege testing and happy customers IMHO.

HI/FLOW Air cleaners are all about the same its all about whats your style and how much do you want to spend.
As for a tuner...PC-III is adjustable for future mods but cost a tad more.
The V&H is cheaper but is only good for a stage I (not adjustable).
you decide.

Thank you guys. I justed posted this again because I thought it didn't work last night. Will The P.C. III give me the info to plug into the unit so I don't have to get it Dyno'd. Man you both have great looking bikes. I was fighting with myself between the pipes you guys have as well. I thought with the bags on the Heritage the longer pipes might look better than the staggered but without the bags they look nicer. I also really like the Duals but I heard the left pipe really gets hot on your left leg. Beautiful bikes.
check out JET velocity stack. very satisifed with it.

If you don;t want to put more fuel management hardware on your scoot, look into TTS tuner. More money, but why put on another piece of hardware that's not needed when software while do everything you need and more... just my $.02..

The power commander has a database of maps for various setups. Plus, if you buy from fuelmoto, they have their own library of maps. I would suggest getting it from them as they have many maps they have made on their own Dyno. I had my bike dynoed with one setup that was on it and it seemed to run good, but them I swapped pipes and put the map from the power commander site on with them and it ran way better. I think it really depends on the setup you are doing. With the Big shot longs and an air cleaner there are already several maps on power commanders site that will most likely work well. It all boils down to how much you have or are willing to spend on the bike. A Dyno would make it run better. As far as the air cleaner most of the open elements provide about the same amount of flow. Choose how much you want to spend and what kind of look you are after.
Yep give them a call "Fuel Moto" A+A+A+

Just ordered the P.C.III from Fuel Moto but with fuel moto's name on it instead of Dyno Jet. $40.00 cheaper. Wondering if I can use the stock cover with the screaming eagle stage I cleaner. I like the H.D. Heavy breather but I don't think that fits the 03 Heritage.
