Any watch-outs or other advice???
Heritage is big enough to tour on but still nimble enough to cruise the town every weekeng and evening. I traded my buddy for his Ultra for a few hours and it got to be alot of bike to bar hop on,, i missed my Heritage quick! Mines lowered also and I'm 6'. No problems w/ it and I think it actually helps handling.
bike. I have a 2006, last of the tried and true "88" cu. in.
and have not had any problems. 10K miles.Runs great,
no heat problems, cruise two-up at 70mph all day long.
Good luck, be safe and enjoy that Heritage.

I would ask if the bike was outfitted with a Screaming Eagle Stage I breather kit since that often is what people do when they put new pipes on. Looks like the bike might have the Stage I kit. I don't see a black plastic air limiter behind the new air cleaner cover. You will see a significant performance increase with the Stage I kit.
It has upgraded passenger pegs, but no passenger seat or backrest, which come stock on a 2000 Heritage Classic. Just wonderin' if they've got one in the back room for it. The seat they put on is cool, but it's not the kind that accepts a passenger pillon. You can buy a different seat if you need to later.
I see there is no windshield in the pic, which, once again come stock on the original bike. There are windshield mounts I can see in the pics. Sometimes dealers take 'em off in the showroom and put 'em on when you buy the bike. Whether there is a windshield or not with this bike, seems like a reallly good deal with all the extras. Seats and windshields are expensive. Check www.harley-davidson.com for MSRP. But, you can add seat, windshield and more in time as you wish and enjoy the bike in the meantime.
The low miles are great! Mine's an '06 with 30k+. I would do the normal things like Blue Book, NADA value, CarFax and check the title to be sure it's not salvaged, etc., but looks like a good deal to me.
Nice looking bike!

I know it's foolish to buy a bike sight unseen, but I sure am being tempted. I don't have the time to go look at it.
