i need to know if i can put a 18x5.5 on the back of a 05 flstsc i looked all over in the search but didn't find anything and if anyone did this up grade what size tire did u go with.

I believe the biggest you can go on the fatboy is a 18x3.5 with a 160 rear. Some one will chime in.

it is a springer classic and has a 3.5 on it now with a 150 tire

Pretty sure you can get a 170-18 Metz under there.It comes out to 6 3/4 wide on a 18 3.5 rim.You should have 7 1/4 between you fender bolts. I use a fat boy fender and have a 160-80-16 on a 4" rim and it is 7" wide with room.

i found this web site here http://www.hdwheels.com/Product.htm and they sell a 4 1/4 inch wide rim says it fits with no mods and the 160 will fit has anyone ever dealt with this company?good or bad experiences with them?

I bought my wheels from this place, super cool guys to deal wth. Its a couple of Russian dudes, they machine all their own hubs, everything is made here, not cheap *** chinese crap. Nop notch wheels, I have had zero problems with mine.

I put an 18x5.5 with a 200 mm tire on my Deuce....
