Default springer exhaust

Hi guys. Anyone familiar with springer duals with fishtails. I have a set and am wondering what the best slip on might be for these for real good flow. My evo has python3's on it now which work well but interfere with the saddlebags I want to run. like the duals look but don't know alot about how to make them flow.

if your changing the exhaust of the scoot in your photo to duals you're going to need the whole exhaust not slippons

Anything other than the stock slip-ons will flow better.
Samsons
Screamin Eagle
Kerkers
Vance and Hines
Supertrapps.

yah I sorta knew mufflers would be needed, I guess my real question is are the stock headpipes good enough to compare to a SE stage II or III upgrade with just good mufflers and if so is there a fishtail available or recommendations as to the best performance slipons. since I'm using bag mounts from a flhx I have the option of adding fl slipons as the mounts will be there under my bags.

They all seem to be about the same. Go with the one's you like looking at the best. If you use a baffle, you get more torque. Use a straight, it's louder and more top end power.

It also depends on the size you want. Most of the softail springer slip ons are pretty small in diameter with exception of the SE's. I personally really like the 4" look on the baggers. Since you already have the brackets, Id go that route. All the pipes are 1.75" so they should fit.

I went with Kerker slip-on mufflers (128-78030) with the fishtail end caps for my Springer Classic. They will fit all FL style springers from 1997-2007. They produce a nice sound that is louder than stock, but not obnoxious. They don't interfere with my saddlebags (the oem ones specifically styled for the FLSTSC) either.

Hope that helps.
