I have the Lisle set from Sears and it has served me well. It includes a T-27. Secret to using Torx:

Make sure you're using the right size. Always try the next larger size to make sure.

Make sure its seated ALL the way in the slot.

And always use a torque wrench.

t-47 for one rail bolt or use 45 and vise grips and then change the bolt

I have the Craftsman set...seems like I had to buy a couple others also???? Maybe it was the T27 and the T47? They do replace them if you twist the ends.

A tube of Diamond grip does wonders with Torque bits as well.. Just a drop on it when you hit a to tight bolt is great!

I wish the Moco did away with the torx heads, they are the worst!

Had the Craftsman set a while back and had to buy the T27 separately. They are fine if you don't use them a ton. I ended up going with the 3/8" drive Snap-On set for work with an extra 3/8" and 1/4" drive T27. Use that one enough that I usually have to replace 1 every 3-4 weeks. A buddy at work had a front brake rotor that just wouldn't come off. Between his tools, my tools and some we borrowed from other wrenches we snapped or twisted a Cornwell, a Matco, a Craftsman and 2 Mac torx sockets before the Snap-On one got it off (although it was damaged as well). Still keep the Craftsman set at home for occasional use.

...stripped out a floor board bracket Torx bolt until I learned it was a T-47; one generally not included in most Torx sets.

NAPA sells a set for under a $100.00; good quality and it has all the needed sizes.
