Another XBones update...
A few more pics.
No more gold. I'm going totally rustic.

Aluminum doesn't patina. I hate aluminum. It takes a lot more work than all the other metals. I used lacquer with brown dye in it, and added some diluted mint green paint for the aging effect.




The ignition was stripped of it's chrome, then patinad first to give it some texture and color variation, then rusted, and finally clear coated with flat clear coat.



I cant decide whether i like the headlight low down like this or at the top of the shock where it originally was.

HOT DAMN C. Numb!!!! I was weary of the thought of you doing that to your rocker covers, but that's the shiznit!!! Your bikes on a plain of it's own in my book!! I'm blown away as usual man!!! Thanks for turning me on to the 140 fatty man.. It's turned out even better than I had imagined!

Wow! That looks great, can't wait to see it all back on the bike and an overview shot of the whole package. The bar just keeps going up around here. Glad to be a member of this community.

Yo stuff looks killa mang' that and that ain't no joke!!! I really think the bike is lookin pimp and you have done an awesome job with everything so far. I am sure that your imagination will continue to take it to new levels.
