Just purchased a used 09 Xbones, should be here next week. Looking to do the 21" front tire and change wheels. What are thoughts on spokes vs mags? Been looking a some of the Hogpro wheels and the ride right wheels. Trying to decide whether to do an old school theme or try to modern up the bike some. Thanks

 

Congratulations!!! Your going to love your choice!! In my opinion 21" for sure!!! When it comes to the style being spokes or mags; look around at others bikes, and try to visualize what the overall long term look and objective of your bike is. One thing I've learned, is bikes and mods have a flow. When you do find yourself in the market for wheels or other mods, check out Dr. V-Twin, as he's got crazy good service and prices and is a site sponsor. I like the Model A side mount license plates, but they just don't go with the look on a modern type of billet wheel design. Whatever you decide; keep us posted, and post plenty of photo's!!!

 

congrats on the new Cross Bones! I just picked one up myself and what attracted me to the XB was the old school/retro look. It will be interesting to watch your build-up.
