Default Suspension Recommendations

I thought long and hard about wether I wanted to get rid of my 2006 Deluxe and get a Street Glide... I just could not part with my Deluxe! Instead I have a couple mods in process. I have a Dragonfly fairing due in two weeks with matching paint (Dragonfly Green on Vivid Black). My brother is collecting all the parts for my Headquarters 95" upgrade. It will be at 10.1 compression with 251 cams. I chose the Supertrapp Internal Disc 2:1 with fishtail for my exhaust. I will be, conservatively, right at around 90/90 and relatively quiet which is how my wife prefers. I love riding with her on back.

Hence my question... Can you guys and gals make some recommendations on good suspension upgrades for front and rear? I am looking solely for stability and ride comfort. I love the stance of the stock Deluxe. I have seen many threads on suspension... I am specifically looking for recommendations for 2-up riding comfort.

My bike.

Thanks in advance,

Joe

Interesting, I would have thought someone would have a recommendation, guess softail riders are not as interested in suspension as the dyna riders.

Default go with air ride!

I have had a legends kit for 7 yrs. now and love it.. Yes it has it cons sits 1/4 inch below frame rails no biggie hit the compressor for 15 seconds before you go over a speed bump.
I have hit the sh@@ out of mine a time or two now it has a few scrapes under the bike big deal....
all air out sitting on the stops is a cool look and can ride around like that or put a tiny bit of air in it and it works great for around time.
Load up the bike with camping gear and pump it up to the exact amount needed for the ride.
Get into the twisties and jack her up tiight for ground clearance.... worth every penny if you asked me not to mention the safety of a lowered bike in a turn that botooms out.....
quality part and still in business to sell me relpacement parts when needed...

oh tranny fluid I replaced last time using a mighty vac through the fill hole but use a quality syn fluid and no need to replace till it is contaminated per the recomandation of my harley trained 25+ year master mechanic buddy shop owner.

peace out!

Thanks for the response. I am hoping to get several opinions. Going to an air ride system certainly is one. Thanks again.
