Just ordered my 2010 Crossbones, should be able to pick it up in a few weeks. Have to wait for it to clear customs. One of the downfalls of being stationed in Germany. Weather is just starting to get nice so I cant wait. I have 1200 sporty to ride till I pick up the bones.
Have a question for any Xbone owners. In the dealers description of the bike it said it has internally wired handlebars. I've looked at a few other Xbones and they didn't look like they were wired internally. It was the description straight from his computer, so could this be a miss print?
Congrats on the new scooter ... I have a 2010 XBones and is not internally wired.. actually its in the shop rite now getting that done . Maybe the dealer did it .
Congrats on the ride I picked up an 08 a couple of weeks ago and love it. The more i ride it the better it gets . These newer Softails sure ride nice. This bike is going to be the new weekender ride .Still going to use the Rd glide for the longer trips.
Yeah I love my XL but need something a little bigger for the longer rides. I just love the old school look the bones has, and some of things guys on here are doing to them are exactly what I had imagined doing to when I first saw it.
Already have a list of things I want to do to it. But in the end I want a radial rear fender and to paint it OD green. I would love to find someone who could give it this paint job. Being in the military that OD color does it for me.
