Default 05 Night train

So, I'm buying my first Harley... an 05 Night train with just under 7k miles from a good friend. Any other Night train owners out there with any words of wisdom? Problems? Headaches?

Cam chain tensioners. That is the main issue on the 2000-2006 sotfails. It is unlikely at that mileage that they have been checked or changed but every once in a while you will find someone who put in gear drive cams.

pig spit is the best stuff for detailing the motor and all the wrinkle black. i just did my 03 night train with it and it probably looks better now than it did when it came off the show room floor

I've got an 05 standard. No major problems, knock on wood.

Dr. V are the gear drive better? How often are the cam chain tensioners supposed to be checked, replaced?
