Default reflectors

Got the reflectors off the rear with no problem. Every time I try to slide floss or strong fishing line between the reflector and fork slider, they break. It almost feels like I'm hitting something solid. Those things are'nt screwed on somehow, r they?

The tape on the front end reflectors is different than the rear so it is a little tougher. Keep at it they will come off. I pried mine off and then got off the adhesive.

Thanks, I'll go at it again with a dryer and wd. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't gonna bugger up the lowers.

I tried all the tips and mine still came off in a million pieces. Heat gun, fishing line, wd-40. I ended up pulling (NOT prying) them off using a screwdriver. Just got the screwdriver tip in behind the reflector and pulling, being careful not to contact the lower with the screwdriver. I ended up getting a small scratch on the one side that you can't see if your standing up, but it still pissed me off. I haven't tried the ones on the rear fender yet, the front reflectors surprised me, how well they were glued on that I didn't want to try the ones on the paint. They aren't quite as noticable anyway because of the color of my bike. Maybe I'll try them since someone said they are put on differently.

The rear ones where on the crome, not paint. Fishing line, they popped right off. The goo gone did not help much, just had to rub it alot with cleaner. The ones on front feel cemeted on... lol... will be fun to get off, but will work on it. Doesn't help it is still freezing here and most everything is froze solid....including me...
