No he is not saying BR's are cheap, the bars he had before the BR's sanpped while he was riding back from the HD Museum. The BR bars are quality bars and made to fit. Mine aren't on yet as I am awaiting word on a new front end. Hope you don't mind that I answered for you Mike?
